If American adults get way too much salt, and American children are eating as much salt as adults… wow, that’s bad. A new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention finds kids have 3,300 milligrams of sodium a day – about 1,000 milligrams more than they should. The recommended intake for kids and adults is no more than 1 teaspoon daily, or about 2,300 milligrams.
